I think we do. I mean, I'm very supportive of the Cyber Diplomacy Act.

We need to make sure that not only, you know, companies but also the American Government, that we're fully engaged in those forums.

I think we need to do more of these bilateral agreements.

I commend Senators Thune and Schatz for their STREAMLINE Act that provides a commonsense and balanced framework.

The 6 gigahertz band, do you believe there is any potential for unlicensed services in the 6 gigahertz band?

I urge swift action on AIRWAVES and STREAMLINE to help us win the 5G race.

One of the provisions that Senator Hassan and I have in the bill would require the FCC to issue a rulemaking on permitting non-interfering unlicensed use in the 6 gigahertz band.

Unlicensed spectrum is a critical component of any wireless solution.

It's a great idea as to how we're going to bring broadband to rural areas.

I think that we want that to be United States companies.

It's critical that we look at solutions like that.

It's very crucial that we continue to have this life--this--the lifeline of spectrum, so to speak, this pipeline, in the future.

The progress that they have made on our core priorities this year is laudable.

I think it is clear that this Congress would not recognize a Chinese imposition.

I would encourage us to do everything we can at the United Nations to the rappateurs or whoever it is responsible--inspections to get in there immediately. This is not acceptable.

We are talking about mass detention of Uighurs, ethnic Kazakhs.

I think the testimony from the three of you has presented one of the most damning views of China's rise the committee has heard.

Thank you for inviting me to this important hearing on democracy, human rights and rule of law in China.

There is more the United States can do to lead on global human rights; this is part of our moral responsibility as Americans.

America's critical role in protecting and promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms in China is more important today than in many years.

I personally have significant concerns about partnerships between Chinese entities and U.S. companies that manufacture components of critical infrastructure and/or the defense industrial base for the United States.
