I was reminded of a quote that Enos Mills, one of the Founding Fathers of Rocky Mountain National Park, said about our national places and spaces. I think you can apply this to public lands everywhere, the public parks, national parks, forests, you name it. He said: ``Within national parks is room--glorious room--room in which to find ourselves, in which to think and hope, to dream and plan, to rest and resolve.'' That is the importance of our public lands across the West, across the East, and everywhere in this country--from corner to corner--as we fight to preserve our most sacred places.…”
