The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows: A bill (H.R. 7898) to amend the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act to require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to consider certain recognized security practices of covered entities and business associates when making certain determinations, and for other purposes. There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
