We are fortunate, indeed, to have Dr. Caraveo as a Member of our House with her keen intellect and pragmatic approach to solving America's problems. I yield such time as she may consume to the gentlewoman from Colorado (Ms. Caraveo).

I want to start off by recognizing that the felony convictions of a former President represent a first for our country and that is solemn. I don't celebrate these convictions.

Now they have reached NOAA where they’re wreaking havoc on the scientific and regulatory systems that protect American families’ safety and jobs.

It unfortunately is no surprise a president who has attacked NSF from day one would seek to destroy the board that helps guide the foundation.
