I rise in opposition to reauthorizing FISA section 702 without meaningful reform. At a time when the Trump administration is building a sweeping surveillance apparatus, trampling civil rights, and disregarding the rule of law, Congress…

This was the most transparent committee, probably, in the history of Congress.

Now, some of my colleagues say the Department of Justice, a Federal agency that is part of the Biden Administration, somehow directed the Manhattan District Attorney to indict Mr. Trump in a New York State case.

We have no further requests, so I am happy to urge all Members to vote for the bill, and I yield back the balance of my time.
