That is a crucial point because people are saying, you would not do this to anyone else and we have never done it to anyone else in the Senate. That is not true. What is being asked of the White House to produce memoranda that were prepared by Mr. Estrada during his time with the Solicitor General's office is no different than what was asked for of Judge Bork when he was before the Senate for confirmation to become a Supreme Court Justice. It is no different than what was asked of Mr. William Bradford Reynolds, who was nominated to be the Associate Attorney General for the Department of Justice. It is no different from what was asked of Benjamin Civiletti, who was nominated to be the Attorney General. It is no different than what was asked of Steven Trott, who was nominated to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and it is no different than what was asked of today's Supreme Court Justice, Chief Justice William Rehnquist, when he was nominated to be the Supreme Court Chief Justice. No different.
