He is still going to, I hope, veto this. But the point remains that back when we debated it earlier and today, law enforcement organizations, the school board associations, a lot of folks are saying this is not a practical bill, this is not a way to go, it is not only going to deny kids an education, but it is going to put kids on the street to either be victims of crime and perhaps even be criminals themselves, and for that reason my colleagues continue to see objections from the folks who will have to administer this. It is not a good piece of legislation, and it should be defeated for those reasons, least of which are the procedural matters, which I believe violate the spirit of democracy.
