Members of Congress announced Friday. A letter from the EPA's inspector general notifying Representatives Don Beyer of Virginia and Ted Lieu of California that inspectors intended to take up the inquiry was dated Wednesday but released to lawmakers on Friday.
Lieu was notified about the inquiry into Pruitt's rental from a lobbyist's wife.
