She cares about their concerns, fears, and hopes and knows how to work with people from all political persuasions. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this massacre, and the shock from it reverberates throughout my community and our country. So I am listening to my constituents that hope that this tragedy will engage us anew in serious and civil discourse on how we can leave a better world for our children and our grandchildren. That is what Gabby strived to do daily. It is what she would want us to be doing right now.
