Trump has shown a willingness to pull the tariff guns out whenever something irritates him.

Consumers are concerned about the inflationary effects of the tariffs hikes. They understand if prices rise, their real spending power will go down.

I hope we are better than that. But I worry that as we continue to come back that is not always the case.

I think the thing that’s special right now is we actually believe there’s a chance to succeed, that there’s an administration that’s supportive and a great cabinet and just a great group that will actually make success a possible outcome.
