I ask the gentleman from California (Mr. Walsh) as chairman of this committee, when he goes into conference to fight as hard to get this reestablished as he did to get the Peace Corps funded, as I did to get the Peace Corps funded. We cannot just have a foreign Peace Corps and not have a domestic Peace Corps. This is absolutely essential to America to give youth a chance. To give America a chance to invest in an ounce of prevention, which is all these Members of Congress have said, is certainly worth a pound of cure.
