I obviously will be very brief. As my colleagues can tell, I am a great supporter of AmeriCorps. I think it is one of the greatest programs that we have done here in Congress, and I hope that we will give it strong support, increasing support. The issue here is not AmeriCorps. It is about cost. And remember that it is not just a debate about cost, but it is a debate about value. Defeat these amendments. It is not just the price of everything, but it is also the value of something. The AmeriCorps is a great value to this country.
