I know, as a physician and public health expert, that pesticides can have serious toxic impacts on human health particularly for women and children. Pesticides can endanger women and unborn children, cause malformation in infants, hinder early childhood development, endanger reproductive health, and cause cancer. Madam Speaker, I speak as a physician, but I also speak as the son of farm workers.…”
