The impact of a missed paycheck is catastrophic in the lives of these Americans when they can't pay their mortgage, their rent, their utilities, bills, their car payments, children's tuition on time, and the list goes on. It affects their credit rating, and it affects the credit rating of the United States of America. I am particularly concerned about the impact that it has on our veterans. A large percentage of the Federal workforce are veterans.…”
