I want to take the occasion to thank him for his tremendous leadership as chair of the Science and Technology Committee and for being a leader on these issues. His departure from the Congress is a loss for us, but I know he takes with him this passion that he has for science. It is something that has served our country well in the Congress, and I know he will continue to do so outside the Congress. So, Mr. Gordon, thank you for your tremendous leadership. I know I speak for everyone here when I say it is an honor to call you colleague.
