I was particularly taken with the comments of Senator Warner as he related his thoughts listening to the President a little while ago before the United Nations. I had the same thoughts. The President made a magnificent speech. In part, it was a legal brief, where he outlined ad seratim the various instances where Saddam Hussein had rejected the sanctions that had been placed on him by the United Nations, rejected the resolutions that had been passed by the Security Council time and time and time again, rejected inspectors, rejected sanctions, basically rendering what the United Nations and the international community as a whole and specifically the Security Council, what they had done, rendering it a nullity. I thought it was a very effective walk through history. There was no secret information disclosed. It was a rendition of what we all should have known.
