The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 54, line 18, after the dollar amount insert ``(increased by $50,000,000)''. Page 55, strike line 9 and all that follows through ``up to'' in line 12. Page 55, line 12, after the dollar amount insert ``(increased by $50,000,000)''. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 43, the gentleman from California (Mr. Thompson) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from California.
