If I may echo the sentiments of my colleague from Tennessee, Mr. Frist, that the joint project at Mountain Home represents a model relationship and combined effort between a Department of Veterans Affairs hospital and a medical school. The relationship provides both access to quality medical care for our veterans who are living at Mountain Home, and it provides a tremendous level of access to patients for the students and their teachers. Both the medical school and Mountain Home believe this relationship is critical to their success, and would like to further the level of cooperation.
