I wonder if the Senator from Kentucky would just yield for 30 seconds, not to be taken from his time, so I can answer a question that has been asked of me: What happened to the approximately 35 to 40 amendments which we had cleared? Why were they not part of this unanimous consent request? The answer is because there are a few Senators, apparently, who do not object to the substance of the amendments but who have other goals they are, at the moment, insisting on. That puts in jeopardy the effort of literally dozens of our colleagues to achieve what is in these cleared amendments, and I hope those few Senators would relent. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Senator from Kentucky. Amendment No. 1064
