I will continue fighting for a stronger bipartisan NDAA that addresses and funds the needs of our servicemembers and their families.
We need a substantial increase in research funding to determine the appropriate care and resources for our troops and veterans, and I will continue to fight for that on the House Appropriations Committee.
Congress must now work in a bipartisan, bicameral fashion to authorize the Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses and write them into law with clear oversight, clear benchmarks, and clear connections to permanent disposal.
