This Act may be cited as the ``American Medical Isotopes Production Act of 2011''. SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS. In this Act: (1) Department.--The term ``Department'' means the Department of Energy. (2) Highly enriched uranium.--The term ``highly enriched uranium'' means uranium enriched to 20 percent or greater in the isotope U-235. (3) Low enriched uranium.--The term ``low enriched uranium'' means uranium enriched to less than 20 percent in the isotope U-235. (4) Secretary.--The term ``Secretary'' means the Secretary of Energy.
