I heartily join my good friend from Virginia in his assessment of Senator McCain. I know there has been some disagreement as to who would go first, but that should not in any way, I hope, cloud the real affection which I think everybody in this body holds for Senator McCain and the effort he has made for so long to try to bring some kind of decency to the approaches we use to people whom we detain. I thank the Senator.
