This approximately 200- page bill would impose new costs to consumers and the economy and negatively impact credit underwriting standards. We request that House Members vote no when the bill is considered. As the trade association representing companies who provide consumer reporting services, we and our members strive to ensure that consumer credit reports are accurate, the information within them is protected and consumers are empowered to correct inaccurate information in a timely and straightforward fashion.…
