As a matter of fact, Mr. Chairman, the GSE's come to mind, the government service enterprises, where we have FNMA and Freddie Mac. That is not about anything more than ensuring that we have the vehicles by which we can get those mortgages on the secondary market to ensure that people can own homes. If we do not support the preamble and the goals of that preamble, are we then saying we want to remove our support from these GSE's and all of these instruments that we have developed to support ownership and means by which people can get into safe and decent housing? Would the gentleman not say that we have in place not only the GSE's, but veterans policy and other things to carry out the goals that we articulated in that preamble?
