GAO REPORT ON IMPORTANCE OF OPEN INTERNET RULES TO VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES. (a) In General.--Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States shall submit to Congress a report examining the importance of the open internet rules to vulnerable communities. (b) Definitions.--In this section: (1) Open internet rules.--The term ``open internet rules'' means the rules described in section 2(b). (2) Vulnerable communities.--The term ``vulnerable communities'' means-- (A) ethnic and racial minorities; (B) socioeconomically disadvantaged groups; (C) rural populations; (D) individuals with disabilities; and (E) the elderly. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 294, the gentlewoman from California (Ms. Waters) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes.
