EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY OF THE SECRETARY OF VETERANS AFFAIRS TO PROVIDE FOR THE CONDUCT OF MEDICAL DISABILITY EXAMINATIONS BY CONTRACT PHYSICIANS. Section 704(c) of the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 (Public Law 108-183; 38 U.S.C. 5101 note) is amended by striking ``December 31, 2016'' and inserting ``December 31, 2017''. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 859, the gentleman from California (Mr. Takano) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from California.
