I thank the gentleman for yielding. I support this amendment because veterans are not immune from the opioid epidemic. They are not immune to alcoholism or substance abuse. When a veteran is also suffering from post-traumatic stress or other serious health conditions that may have caused dependency on a substance, we should do everything we can to make sure that veteran can receive care. I thank the gentleman for offering this very important amendment, and I urge all my colleagues to support it.
