I urge everyone in the impacted area to get indoors immediately, close windows and doors, turn off air conditioning, and avoid unnecessary travel to the area.

Ultimately people will lose their lives. We urge HUD to work with the City of Los Angeles to provide the necessary funding to reduce homelessness.

I have devoted my entire life to serving the city that I love, where I was born, and I’m going to continue to do that all the way to victory in November.
