Residents, public agencies and elected officials have repeatedly sought timely information regarding the cleanup, remediation, environmental monitoring and recovery.

I understand why residents are frustrated. They deserve transparency, clear communication, and meaningful support.

We must rigorously examine whether our policies, training, tactics, supervision and accountability systems are sufficient.

We will always protect our neighbors, and we continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with immigrant families in LA and everywhere.
