“Mr. Tonko, you have been here on the floor with me many times over the last few years, and we keep beating this drum about American jobs. We now have a policy from the President, middle class economics, that has all of the elements, many of which we have talked about on the floor--the research issue, the education issue, the job training issue, the infrastructure, all of those things--and it is all pulled together in middle class economics. Another piece of that puzzle is trade policy. If we are going to grow American jobs, as I put this up before--Make It In America, Buy American, education workforce, research, infrastructure, and then this one down here, trade policy.
