With House passage of this important legislation, the HOME Investment Partnerships Program will, for the first time since 1994, be modernized and brought into the 21st century.

This bill, like nearly all of the Trump and Republican agenda, does nothing to make Americans’ financial situation better.

Last year, I called Republicans’ budget reconciliation bill ‘the largest transfer of wealth from working Americans in U.S. history.’

The bill that passed is a loss for the country, and one whose consequences our children will feel for years to come unless Democrats regain control of Congress.
