Mr. Chairman, in an effort to achieve that consultation, sir, could the House provide me with information since I do not have before me the rules of the House. Perhaps they can provide me the rules of the House and I could read it, or perhaps the Chair can provide some advice on that particular section of the rules. The Acting CHAIR. The Chair would inform the gentleman that the rule allows for 10 pro forma amendments that are granted respectively to the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Appropriations or their designees.
