Thank you very much, Ms. Kaptur. I loved your talk of the history and how it came to pass that we have Social Security and Medicare and what happened when we did not. It was really profound. It reminded me of my own history. I remember, as a young kid, that my father took me to the county hospital where the neighboring rancher was--we were out on a ranch in California--and it was horrible. That is where he was sent to die because there was no Medicare.
