I think this is a worthwhile bill that is on track from a policy perspective and I look forward to advancing it to the Full Committee.
the ``Pension Protection Act of 2011,'' H.R. 923, was introduced by my good friend and colleague, Alcee Hastings of Florida, and this bill and prohibit the VA from counting casualty losses and pain and suffering payments as income for the purpose of determining eligibility for non-service-connected pension benefits.
It is interesting. I have watched 'Lie to Me' on occasion and I find it is compelling but not too scientific in my opinion.
I have been a computer modeler, computer forecaster. I know what is involved.
I know that research money that was spent in these United States is now developing products, is now manufacturing products in Germany because they had policies that encouraged them to buy wind power and green power.
My personal experience contradicts that because I have worked in the wind energy field.
They are going to be exporting it to us because we have regulations that force people to use it and we have higher costs of producing it than they do.
You said that there is no benefit to the U.S. for taking action on climate change.
