The bill would reauthorize the SCORE program for 2 years, maintaining vital oversight mechanisms and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely.

I have to say that I am very troubled that we are considering expanding SBA's direct loan programs without ensuring internal controls against fraud.
I would urge you to analyze the direct lending provisions and its impact on smaller businesses before considering its implementation.
I wish we were able to put in additional funds into the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.

As communities continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, small businesses can play an important role in providing viable pathways into the workforce.
