Janet Yellen: “The President has pledged that no taxpayer earning under $400,000 will see their taxes raised by as much as a penny.”

He will oppose any tax increases on families earning under $400,000 at the same time that he will oppose keeping in place benefits that went to the wealthy.

I am optimistic, because I believe that the big inflationary impulse that we saw in 2022 largely was global.

I definitely expect that we’re going to see them impact pricing.

There will be a negotiation over what to do when these tax cuts expire.
