Today, our economy is stronger than ever. Under President Biden, we see very strong economic growth, millions of jobs are created, inflation is under control, and a thriving economy that is second to none in this world.

Thank you very much, Mr. Chair, for holding this most important hearing. Today, I think this hearing is about safety.

There is no place in our society for these animals.

When those officers tell me I am working 16-hour shifts, we need more personnel, we have to respond with more resources.

Let's get it together. Surge resources to the border. Make sure we stop fentanyl from crossing into our country.

This is the reason why all of us here at the Federal level, Democrats, Republicans, on both houses, with the President, have to stop bickering, have to stop fighting, come together to protect middle America in this country.

The First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech, freedom of the press.

We need good information to make good decisions here.

Every time you turn around, a reporter is getting assassinated, imprisoned somewhere around the world.

We need to be independent and strong in two areas: (1) Energy production, no more OPEC oil embargoes and (2) food production.

We need immigrants. What we need is an adjustment to our immigration policy.
