No Nation ever yet found any inconvenience from too close an inspection into the conduct of its officers.
The House's need for all the facts surrounding suspected Presidential offences cannot of course be circumscribed by an executive determination of what is relevant.
What the Constitution does not allow is our leaders breaking the Constitution, or the law, to serve their political needs.
I hope this committee will initiate a detailed investigation examining this network of front groups and trade associations, determine who funds them and expose how they coordinate with industry.
