Well, the confusing, contrary, uncertain, and sometimes purely nonsensical information that comes from Takata is confusing to drivers.
But yesterday Takata responded that, quote, 'the currently available reliable information does not support a nationwide determination of a safety defect,' end quote.
Our bill provides more resources to give them the additional enforcement authority and increases the fines for manufacturers that violate vehicle safety laws.
