The text of the amendment is as follows: After section 1, insert the following section (and redesignate the subsequent sections accordingly): SEC. 2. FINDING. The Congress finds that if the rules specified in section 3(b) remain in effect, they are expected to reduce the amount of mercury that deposits to land and water by up to-- (1) 30 percent in some areas of the western United States; and (2) 17 percent in some areas of the eastern United States.
