I claim the time in opposition, although I am not opposed to the amendment. The CHAIR. Without objection, the gentleman from California is recognized for 5 minutes. There was no objection.
It is not for the President to say or to obstruct congressional deliberations and investigations or other legitimate functions.
This is the trick. On the one hand, you want people to do something, when in fact a lot of folks may not realistically be able to find a job.
We need to find answers to these questions, and I hope the committee will continue its investigation even after the time you and I, Mr. Chairman, will be gone.
