one of the short sides of this in the way that we approach these problems is we look at the cost of hospital care under Medicare, which is extraordinarily high, and we do not connect it to the fact that we have caused those costs to be incurred because we have not done anything to protect the elderly from the high cost of medications and the fact that many of them will go without the medications, forcing them to get sick and then to use more expensive care.
