George Miller: “The arts mean business, big business in this country.”

It is ironic to me that I hear people talk about you cannot pass legislation because we need to respect state water rights.

In 1997, President Clinton wrote a letter to the Governor in the Northern Mariana Islands who had hired Team Abramoff to oppose raising minimum wage.

This bill will do much more harm than good and we cannot afford to cause any further damage to an ecosystem that is oversubscribed and in jeopardy.

Let's just fix the problems with it. Let's don't start from scratch and rewrite the whole law.
