George Miller: “That is precisely why I asked this committee to take immediate action on President Obama's job bill nearly a month ago.”

The nature of Self-Governance is rooted in the inherent sovereignty of American Indian and Alaska Native tribes.

This bill will do much more harm than good and we cannot afford to cause any further damage to an ecosystem that is oversubscribed and in jeopardy.

Let's just fix the problems with it. Let's don't start from scratch and rewrite the whole law.
