George Miller: “For too long, that mission was forgotten.”

We in the federal government should be helping students and schools make these leaps, not cutting them off at the knees.

We need to support our nation's educators as they undertake these paradigmatic shifts.

Instead of doubling down on austerity, we should pass a bipartisan law to fix No Child Left Behind.

Let's just fix the problems with it. Let's don't start from scratch and rewrite the whole law.
