Gavin Christopher Newsom is an American politician and businessman currently serving as the 40th governor of California, a position he has held since January 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, Newsom previously served as the mayor of San Francisco from 2004 to 2011 and as the lieutenant governor of California from 2011 to 2019. His tenure as governor has been marked by significant policy initiatives, including efforts to address climate change, housing affordability, and healthcare reform.
I think we need to move past this notion that he’s not going to run. President Biden is going to run. Time to move on. Let’s go.
Our job is to get out of that muck and to get back on our feet, making the case.
