Gavin Newsom: “So here is what I support: A national billionaires’ tax.”

We all agree that Californians deserve to have their retirement and life savings protected from new state taxes so those savings are there when they need them.

A totally unprecedented request that should scare the hell out of every American.

“completely unacceptable and inappropriate.”

If the feds were serious about this, they would have done this long ago — not in the middle of people voting, which inherently and needlessly sows distrust and doubt in our democracy.
