Gavin Newsom: “Whether I win or lose, I will accept the results of the election.”

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom’s press account on social media called the Trump administration’s actions 'completely unacceptable and inappropriate.

Gavin Newsom, the state’s governor, called the remarks “dangerous – if not treasonous – putting a target on two of our biggest cities and one of America’s largest naval hubs.”

If the feds were serious about this, they would have done this long ago — not in the middle of people voting, which inherently and needlessly sows distrust and doubt in our democracy.

We all agree that Californians deserve to have their retirement and life savings protected from new state taxes so those savings are there when they need them.
