It shouldn`t surprise any of you that this recall is part of an extended narrative that started with a big lie. Extended to the insurrection of January 6th. Extends to the voter suppression laws you`ve seen all across the country. And yes, what you saw yesterday in Texas and the assaults on women`s rights and reproductive freedom in this nation. This is a profoundly important moment to say no. Not in California.
