I think that, you know, the investment in fundamental research that will allow scientists to understand, for example, genome engineering technology like we're discussing today, how does it operate, how can we deliver it to patients, how do we ensure that it's operating as we intend and not creating unintended consequences, that it's safe, that it's effective.
